i recently encountered this virus Bllodhound.packed.Jmp...
can anyone help me out regarding this. i tried to look for its source but iam unable to find.

Can you please explain what you mean by:

Its not clear if you are looking for Removal Methods or you are looking for the Technical Description of the virus?

It would be helpful if you could give us some more information and zip up the detected malware so we can analyze the file.

1. What Anti virus software are you currently using?

Bloodhound is a generic name for suspected malicious software. Packed most likely means the file has been compressed or contains obfuscated code. You posted this a while back but it's worth pursuing if you still have access to the file.
